The UK Marketing Director of LG Electronics said: The gaming and esports community is one of the most unique and exciting communities in the world, and as one of the leading providers of esports products, it's important for us to be a part of this culture.
LG is no longer new to the esports space. The company signs contracts with teams around the world and sponsors entire tournaments. In January of this year, for example, it became known about the company's cooperation with the Russian team Gambit Esports.
